Fantastic! The paintings just pop! And I LOVE, LOVE the whole 'follow the progress' idea, especially since I am a frustrated painter! The Veronica painting is fabulous! Congratulations and I will be checking in on a regular basis...... xoxo LG

I so do love your head. As in all of the creative things you do have once again proven your humility and geneosity (I made that word up according to my computer). I love your oil paint trail and your writing, well, you are the best.

Wow! I'm wowed! Although I know your work so well - it's amazing to see it again on this beautiful website. You are so talented; your work both inspires me and makes me want to give up altogether. I look at your stuff and think - "what's the point of my painting?"
I love the blog. Keep painting......

Love being in the studio with you seeing the thoughts behind the work in progress. Better than reality tv - reality art!

A,
I have been visiting with your mom in NYC. For four days I have been obsessed with the picture that she has on the mirror above the fireplace (girl is violet suit swimming). So, your mom and i got on your site and had a great time viewing your art! You are an amazing artist and I hope to meet you some day. Lucky you for living your dream. Marcella

Hi Alex,
I was at the opening of the exhibition at Namibia Café and I especially was impressed by your work.
The Art Club is doing an annual magazine 'Ruta del Arte' which is basically an invitation to visit the studios of the participating artists. Marta Valenti has been participating and Lilian Jung as well. If you are interested, please get in touch.... We are just about starting to work on the 2010 issue.

Hi Alex:

You're creating some compelling images. Very nice to look at; I'd like to see some of them sometime and check how you've applied the pigment to the surface. Let me know if you'll be having a show in NYC.

Unbelievably beautiful... As a devoted ex-Ibiza resident who never gets there at the moment I can't tell you how you capture the light and water and feel of that magical place. And as your friend it evokes memories of sunset drinks under crazy coloured skies, the incredible hues of the salt pans and the fluidity of life on La Isla Blanca. You really are an inspiration! xox

I love them all. Reminds me of Ibiza so much, and I love the underwater works. Art is my favorite subject and my mum is right, you are an inspiration! I would love to come to Ibiza to see them for real. Miss you and can't wait to see you. Say hi to the boys :) xx
