Well, this is slow going here, trying to find some space for my eyes in this merry go round month of November.  but i am very pleased with some of this, namely, the distortion in the torso:  it is solid, 3 dimensional, the distortions do not alter the legibility, just the effect.  I am also quite happy with the distribution of light, with recognizable direction and excellent patterning,  The light creates a fragmentation in the surface of the skin that maps the emotions within...yes, I like this image a lot...

now that veronica 3 has had time to stew for a while, I have exhumed her and worked on her again today, deepening the shadows and strengthening the river of light...not sure if I am going to be able to save this one. the imporatnt thing is to give it time to breathe between sessions...i have decided to isolate areas of light along the left side of the face,  the sternum, upper abdomen, and lower right arm.  I have also reworked the bathing suit, but we are not out of the woods quite yet...her face still seems too big to me, I will try bringing in the hairline next (avoid that queen victoria look!)
Best part:  the bracelets and the eyes.  Trouble spots:  right hand, nose, bathing suit....more work to be done

this is the second interior map, the one that so far I prefer.  perhaps it is the sideway slant or the slightly more abstracted approach, but I find this image to be working.  I am still searching on the river of light, forging its path of color around an interior trajectory...the jury is still out
